Mercedes Fishtival
It is the fishermen’s holiday celebration from August 4 to 8. This festivity is dedicated as a time of annual thanksgiving for the blessings and bounty received during their seafaring, fishing expeditions and fish farming endeavors. The “Fishtival” is not only a week-long merry making but also a moment of retrospect and recognition of Mother Nature for having endowed Mercedes with the gift of vast fishery resources, magnificent shorelines and other aquatic potentials and the wise utilization and preservation of ecological balance for the attainment of environmental dignity and beauty.
A New Year’s celebration featuring a different activities such as fireworks exhibition, multiple dance competition participated by senior men and women of the group, band competition and a dancing session.
Capalonga Festival
A festival celebrating the feastday of the Black Nazarene held every May 11-12 at Capalonga. Mostly of Chinese descents who seek favor for a favorable business climate pay homage to this small town inspite of the rough access road. A whole day series of procession are held around the main streets.

Bantayog Festival
Bantayog Festival is a province-wide event, from March-April, that showcases numerous activities honoring the martyrdom of Jose Rizal and the pride of being recognized as the first province to erect a monument in honor of our national hero. The festival is a patriotic gesture, a symbol of patriotism, and a show of distinct resources and cultural identity.
