Ethical hacking by EC-Council

May 2nd, 2009 -- Posted in #CEH | No Comments »

Hacking is such a tedious and very complicated deed and definitely not my cup of tea. I don’t see myself being a hacker someday (LOL) because I am not a techie guy. What I do know is that hacking one’s information is really immoral and unjust. I am pretty sure that businesses are spending more money on their IT Security to tighten their security level to ensure the safety of their files and information.

On the other hand, do you know that hacking may sound good and ethical too. Yes! I remember one of our senators declaring Php100million payout for a hacker who can manipulate the computerize system of our upcoming election in May 2010. If successful, the hacker will not go to jail but will receive the reward. It is just to show among politicians and the voters as well if the electoral computerize system is safe and sound against election fraud. I guess that could be considered as Ethical Hacking.

EC-Council offers courses relating to hacking for IT professionals like Security Fundamentals, Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, Computer Forensics, Disaster Recovery and Secure Coding. They understand the importance of information and the presence of bad hackers and their expertise on IT security and other channels is unparalleled. You can be a Certified Ethical Hacker after finishing their online courses and your skills will be a big help to those business establishments to ensure and protect their files and information.

Want to change the bad impression of people like me about hacking? Prove to us that hacking can be ethical and beneficial on the other hand.
