Grab this Amy Poehler Cozmo TV widget

January 31st, 2009 -- Posted in Entertainments, Women | No Comments »

I do recognize Amy Poehler in the Shrek series specifically the 2007 animated series “Shrek the Third” where she voiced for the Snow White character. My kids love Shrek so much and it is where I am fortunate to know a famous American comedian and actress who is now also the topic in the blogosphere.

Together with her two friends, Meredith Walker and Amy Miles, produced a digital series called “Smart Girls at the Party.” A great show focusing on the youth in general and how they can change the world by simply being them. The series will run showing the youth of different ages and their very own way to show the world how extraordinary they are and how can they take part in changing the world.

I think this kind of show that Amy Poehler had created must be a precedent to others to give focus and attention on the youth. It is high time that quality shows must be produced that will encourage the youth to be at their best, to be themselves, and take part in changing the world for the better. It is a must-see show for the whole family to value the importance of bringing out the best in our kids, support them and let them involve socially. It is something that will help kids to uncover themselves, the beauty and value of being themselves, no pretensions and to be away with the negative stuff around them.

You can get your own widget here for your blog and spread it in your favorite social medium like Facebook, Friendster and MySpace.

Visit to Enchanted Kingdom

January 20th, 2009 -- Posted in Entertainments, Travel | No Comments »

Yipee!!! Finally we made it to the Enchanted Kingdom. Last quarter of 2007 when we bought the tickets for that year’s holidays. It was so unfortunate that we were not able to get use of it. On the other hand, we were lucky to have the tickets revalidated until January 14, 2009 thru the help of hubby’s co-employee in the marketing department. We went on the theme park last January 11. We decided not to go during the long holiday to avoid congestion and long que line in the rides. We arrived past 12 noon and left the place past 9 of the night. The kids had a great time riding while hubby and I were busy taking the pictures. I think it’s the third time for us to visit the park but first time for the kids to take the rides together.

The ride-all-you-can wrist tag.

The first picture we took right after entering the park with the Grand Carousel at the back.

Mango-Bamboo Capital of the Philippines

December 19th, 2008 -- Posted in City Tours, Delicacies, Entertainments, Festivals, Fiestas, Pangasinan, Travel | No Comments »

San Carlos City is called the “Mango-Bamboo Capital of the Philippines.” It has the largest number of fruiting mango trees - their fruits are among the most delicious in the country - and a flourishing bamboocraft industry. An agro-industrial city, San Carlos also engages in livestock raising, crop production, inland fishing, pottery, food processing, tourism, and commerce. The city is said to have an ideal investment potential because of its large land area, big population and strategic location, being in the center of Pangasinan. Those are the reasons why San Carlos is considered as among the liveliest places in the Province of Pangasinan in terms of economic activity.

Customize your Google Homepage with Groovle

I already received several comments about how beautiful the design of my blog was. Overall, the template really looks great for me too especially the header portion and the shades of green that looks good on the eyes. While browsing for some fresh free templates on the net I encountered Groovle, have you heard of it?

Groovle is an easy and cool way to Personalize Google search page. For those users who set Google as their default search engine this site is a big help for you to customize your homepages. There are two ways wherein you can do it. First, there are available custom made homepages on the site to choose from with different categories like celebrities, sports, space and animals. The second approach that I am pretty sure most of us will prefer to use is creating our unique and personalize homepages using our very own images. You can upload photos with JPG, GIF or PNG file.

Since I am a big fan of High School Musical and the tandem of Zac Efron and Vanssa Anne Hudgens I am planning to create my homepage as you seen above. If you like the idea and concept, you can check them out now and play with those available homepages on the site or with your own photos until you get the kind of look you want for your homepage.
