I already got a Facebook account. It all started from invites that reached my email, hearing it from TV and lastly when a friend showed me how it works. At first, I had a second thought of joining because I am afraid not to return the favors my friends will do for me. Also, I thought it’s more of socializing and chatting with online friends. But when that friend introduced me the vast list of games I can deal with I got interested to have my own account.
At night when I am in front of the computer and doing my online stuff I really feel sleepy knowing that I am the only one awake. Glad to know Facebook to keep me awake and do short time entertainment to help me carry out for the rest of the night. I already tried FarmVille, Farm Land, Barn Buddy, and several others. From time to time I check on my farms to know if time to harvest, weeding, watering and removing bugs.
My kids were happy to see the farm and they promise me to take care of it. Hope my incoming neighbors will be generous to dole out some gifts to me.

Thank you very much to your children
For giving you and Ninoy to us
For bearing the unbearable
For embracing your love for Filipinos
With open hearts and composure.
Thank you Mommy Cory
For all the love and sacrifices
For fighting with us
For touching our lives
And till we meet again.
At about 4:00pm today (Tuesday, Philippine time), the necrological rites for the former President Corazon “Cory” Cojuangco Aquino will begin. Families, relatives, friends, politicians and more flanked the Manila Cathedral to take part on the said rites for the well-loved former president of the Philippines.
The website of Cory is sharing a live video streaming of the necrological rites and the happenings at the cathedral. For announcements, schedules or for your prayers and condolences do drop by at CoryAquino.ph.
Pure, unconditional and eternal. Those are some of the words to describe the kind of love Ninoy and Cory had for each other here and in heaven. As I watched all the news coverages and interviews on TV I can’t help but cried, really cried so hard. All the hardships and pains, all the battles fought, they stood for each other and the love even flourished, deepened and grew stronger.
Cory’s life as a mother and as a wife came not like a bed of roses. It is tough to be a wife to someone like Ninoy who fought not only for his family but for all his countrymen. He is a man of honor and integrity that even life he is willing to offer for his country. As a mother to her kids, Cory needed to be stronger and braver. But our beloved Cory did well triumphantly.
An expression of his great love to Cory, Ninoy made a poem entitled “I Have Fallen In Love (With The Same Woman Three Times)” on October 11, 1973 while still at Fort Bonifacio for their 19th wedding anniversary. It is a poem full of words of love and gratitude from a man for his beloved wife. Thanks Mary Joy of Cebu for sharing this video.
For me Cory is not only a former president, a mother and a wife. She is definitely not only an icon of our country’s democracy but also a true and genuine Filipino who had so much love for the country. Her words, prayers and examples may remain in the hearts of every Filipino and that someday Cory will smile on us from heaven because we are able to make her prayers come true.
The family had just attended a birthday party of one of my nieces. It was held at McDonald’s SM Bacoor branch at around 3:30pm. Unfortunately the celebrant got ill before her party. She had measles and she was hospitalized for several days already due to fever. It was sad not having the celebrant around but the party went fun together with our relatives and friends of the celebrant. We had some games and then after that eating time. Yours truly participated in 2 games: Bring Me (see the video) and the group game (sort of Basketball Cups). I both won in the games. Yipee!!! After the tiring games we had our snacks and ended the party well.
The family did not go home immediately. We went in a computer school to buy a new printer to replace our troubled EPSON Stylus C20SX, hehehe. After some canvassing made we decided to buy the CANON Pimax iP1980. Since we had a multi-functional Brother we bought this one for printing purposes only. The printing procedure is very easy and they have great promo on the warranty. It costs Php2,195.00 with inks (black & colored) already. Right after that we went home coz we’re all tired already.
The host told us to get anything that starts with letter “P” (tagalog or English word). As you can see, I almost searched and exposed all the things in my bag to search for the items. Fortunately with the help of my kids, sisters, niece and nephews I got 14 items that starts with letter “P” and I won the game. See video here.
Tomorrow is the 9th birthday of my daughter. Time flies so fast that on 12:11pm of May 12, 2000 (Friday) I gave birth to a baby girl who is now a young lady. There were times of arguments and misunderstandings but I hope you understand me and papa that we just wanted you to be a good person inside and out and life is not that easy to take. The road in front of you is still a long way, a long journey to take and I hope you will always remember our words of wisdom as you go on with life.

One day from now it’s MOTHER’S DAY. On TV, I see on teleseryes how they give importance to all the amazing and wonderful mothers out there like me, hehehe. In my favorite “May Bukas Pa” (There’s Still Tomorrow), Lorna Tolentino plays the role of a mother looking for her lost child kidnapped by their family driver 7 years ago. Would really be it Santino??? Well, that’s all we have to find out.
I became a mother 9 years ago. Time really flies so fast but my journey since then and until now keeps lingering in my mind and heart. It was not easy but enriching and fulfilling. Being a mom is truly a tough job. It is a 24/7 job, unending and unselfish.
To all the mothers in the world, the big day is nearing. Have a fun-filled and love-filled day with your love ones.
Being a mom concerns not only of what we can give to our kids but what we have to give up from ourselves in the name of love for them. - Crissy
This month is a very busy one for me. I thought I could find a lot of time blogging since my daughter is on vacation from her schooling. But I am wrong coz I forgot that my 4-year old son will soon be off for his schooling by June. I don’t have a helper at home so I do all the chores. I need to divide my time for my husband, kids, chores and blogging. Actually everyday is a busy day for me, lol.
I have two kids, an 8-year old girl and my 4-year old boy. Two months is such a short time to prepare my son for his schooling. As compared to girls, boys are not that easy to handle like my son, lol. At times I told him to write a certain letter he will insists to write a different one. When I taught him on the basic different parts of the body he’s not taking it seriously. I’m in doubt if he understood or not but when my husband comes from office I usually told him to recap what I taught to our son so I can be sure if his getting it. Well I guess I need to cross my fingers that he will follow his teachers and be a good boy there.
As to my blogging, I will probably start with the Bicol Region here. Why? I guess I love cooking food with this coconut milk (or “gata ng niyog”). The family enjoys eating seafood with a mixture of coconut milk plus a bit of siling labuyo (red chili). Well of course not for my 4-year old boy (I always have a special one for him) but my daughter enjoys it as long as I will not put too much chili on it. My husband used to travel in Bicol because they have 2 FM radio stations there – Naga and Legazpi. He shared with me the food that he was able to eat there and sometimes we went on our experiment (our own version of the food).
